Cage-Free Boarding
WoofWorld
is pleased to present 100% cage-free boarding 100% of the time! We are
the ONLY truly cage-free boarding facility in the Lehigh Valley. Heck,
I'd be surprised if there are 60 of us cage-free'ers across the
country! See, most people don't do it because it costs money to staff overnight. Sure, other places say things like, "owners on site
24 hours a day" (meaning they live in a house that is located on the
property about a 1/4 mile away), or "monitored 24 hours a day" (meaning
that they have video viewing capabilities, but, uhhhh...is someone actually
viewing that video at 2am??). There are some others that say they are
cage-free, but they put your pup in another room all by
themselves...ok, ok, maybe with a sibling of theirs...and the people
leave them alone overnight.
At
WoofWorld we really do mean cage-free! I have an area attached to
the main daycare floor. We call it the lounge, and in the lounge there
is a king sized bed and some futons. Once the daycare dogs all go
home for the day, we open the lounge (just fenced off during the day so
the daycare pups won't pee on everything). We pull down lots of dog
beds and toss them all around and your dog is free to plop themselves
on a futon, a dog bed, the daycare floor, or usually,
in the bed with the human.
Human??? Did you just say human
Melissa???
Why yes I did say human! Yep...there is a human that
sleeps in that king sized bed ALL NIGHT LONG right next to your pups
(and usually it's me). I have had up to nine dogs in that bed with me!
Ohhhh, and they were all lab-sized. You try turning over in a bed
with nine lab sized dogs ;)
If you are interested in boarding with us give us a call to set up an
appointment
and get your pup tested.
As we enter the
summer, test days/times will fill up fast! We can only do 8-10 per week.
Because of the high number of appointment 'no show's', we are now
requiring you to pre-pay for your test day. If you are unable to make your appointment call and re-schedule. Pre-paid test days are non refundable.
To ensure a comfortable and relaxed visit, it is important that dogs wanting to sleep over must come to daycare at least once every 3 months to
play with their friends. This ensures that they stay familiar with the
routine and their friends, and don’t forget how to share toys or bed space
with their sleepover buddies (meaning me)!
